The town of Gatton has a wonderful array of shopping facilities including supermarkets, retail shops and medical practices, all within easy reach of the retirement village. Specialist medical centres aren’t far away – just a short drive to Toowoomba or Ipswich. Getting around town is a breeze with a good taxi service operating throughout the area. The village also has its own bus that takes residents out regularly for numerous activities such as visits to cultural attractions including Davson Art Gallery, the Gatton and District Historical Village and Spring Bluff Railway Station Trust’s restored railway, which is surrounded by award-winning gardens.

Community focus

As a resident of the Churches of Christ Care Amaroo Retirement Village, you are invited to participate in an activities program conducted on site. A monthly calendar of activities is delivered to each unit, so you can choose the activities you want to do.

Easy living

Our independent living units are designed to meet the varied needs of residents. The complex has six two-bedroom and two one-bedroom units, which come unfurnished, and have a combined lounge/dining area with adjacent kitchen. Laundry facilities are concealed behind a concertina door in the kitchen. Each unit has a front and back patio providing a pleasant indoor/outdoor living environment. Six units have a lock-up garage while two have an attached carport.
