Juniper is a Christian organisation that values enjoying and celebrating life. The group brings the highest level of comfort and support to people seeking independent living in their retirement years.

Juniper offers a warm, friendly retirement living alternative with 14 independent living and serviced unit locations across regional and metropolitan Perth.

The organisation prides itself in its social enterprise and aims to benefit the Western Australian community as a whole. As an agency of the Church, Juniper responds to the needs of people with limited means. Juniper believes in quality of life and future hopes for all.

With a wide range of self-contained residential accommodation to suit people over the age of 55, Juniper is a prudent choice for the independent retiree. Most independent living choices are located on the same site as one of Juniper’s residential aged care sites. In this way, residents enjoy being part of a larger community with extra security, while maintaining the flexibility of an independent lifestyle.

Social events and recreational activities are a big part of the Juniper community spirit. Residents are extremely active in organising and partaking in the lively social calendar at Juniper’s independent living sites.

For those who require a little support to maintain their independence, Juniper has a number of serviced units which provide help with meals, medications management and heavy laundry. These units have an emergency call button if the need is urgent.

There is no Aged Care Assessment prerequisite to enter Juniper’s independent housing, but we do require a medical clearance from a general practitioner.

Independent accommodation requires a lump sum and payment and fortnightly fees. An amount may be retained upon discharge, depending on the individual financial arrangement specified in the lease purchase.
