Our twelve recently refurbished independent living units in Port Pirie have one bedroom and onsite parking.
Residents of the independent living units are welcome to use common facilities and participate in social activities offered at our nearby residential facility located at 15 Halliday Street, Port Pirie.
At Port Pirie in Halliday Street there are opportunities to participate in bowls, games, concerts, crafts, regular bus trips and social outings plus a men’s group and exercise therapy is available.
Helping Hand’s Independent Living Units are designed for residents who are still able to live independently. Daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation are the responsibility of the resident – offering a secure and safe lifestyle with maximum privacy and independence.
