Make a list of all the business and personal contacts you need to change to your new address and contact them. To be on the safe side, you can organise your mail to be redirected through Australia Post.

A few examples of some of the organisations you may need to notify of your new address include:

•    Lawyer/s
•    Leisure associations and clubs
•    Medicare
•    Car registration office
•    Insurance companies

Also make sure to contact your electricity, gas and telephone providers to have the services disconnected and advise them of your new address to send the paperwork to.
