Retirement Living Explained In Free Seminar
Share this page

Bethanie, Western Australia’s most recognised not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider, is pleased to be bringing Retirement Living expert and author Rachel Lane to Perth on the 6Th & 7th June for a series of free seminars on what you need to know about making the right decisions when it comes to retirement living.

In these unbiased seminars, Rachel will share her top tips on considering retirement living as well as the breakdown of finances involved.  She will also share insight into how to understand retirement villages; with relevant case studies to break down in layman’s terms all you need to know about retirement living.

Rachel is Australia’s “aged care guru”. She writes regular columns on retirement living and aged care for the Sydney Morning Herald, Melbourne’s Age, the Brisbane Times and the West Australian, has co-authored a number of books, including the best-seller Aged Care, Who Cares? and she also speaks on radio and television.

Rachel explains the financial aspects of retirement living and aged care in ways that are engaging and informative. She breaks down complex financial arrangements into plain English, empowering people to understand the choices they have available to them.

Rachel has both professional and personal experience navigating retirement living and aged care: as a specialist financial adviser, and helping her grandmother – affectionately known as “Ducky”, and the source of many stories – to navigate her way through a retirement village, a home care package, and a few respite stays in aged care.

Seminars will be held in both Mandurah and Perth with light refreshments served, spaces are limited.
