Performer’s Choice Awarded to Yukana Resident

Sonia Grevell has been living at Yukana Retirement Village for just over 11 years now. She loves the fact that she lives within a tight knit community that offers her the security of having close friends and staff close at hand.

Sonia is very independent, often attending activities outside of Yukana. Her recent travels took her to the Redlands Modern Country Music Festival where she performed a song written by former nurse, Bill Ramsay.

Her performance of the song about a wife’s journey with someone who has Alzheimer’s/Dementia, won her second place in the Performer’s Choice.
