St Brigid's Green Awarded Best Retirement Village Development

Greengate was the proud recipient of the prestigious 2016 Award for Best Retirement Village Development for St Brigid’s Green, Maroubra at the Property Council of Australia’s Innovation and Excellence Awards on June 3.

Director, Andrew Sweeney accepted the award and commented, “It’s fantastic to be recognised for this award. St Brigid’s Green is our first integrated Village. I’m sure that many of our 150 residents and 80 staff agree. Since opening in 2015, we have cemented our relationships and have become a vital part of the community.”

St Brigid’s Green residents, Robyn and Paul said, “We love living at St Brigid’s Green. We were one of the first residents to move in and have enjoyed being part of the community. The community areas are great for meeting with other residents and we enjoy going to the social events. We can also invite our friends and family over and spend time with them in the café or outside on the Village Green.”

St Brigid’s Green is an integrated Care Village, which includes 89 independent living apartments and a 66-suite boutique aged care home, centered around a sunny Village Green. Located in the heart of Maroubra, the Village is close to amenities such as shopping, transport and medical services.

Developed by Greengate, it is the first in a portfolio of Villages that are under construction. Andrew also stated that “Greengate are working on its next Care Villages. Under construction and expected to be completed in 2017 is St Luke’s Green in Buranda QLD and St Patrick’s Green in Kogarah NSW.”

These projects are both available for apartment reservations and have a range of styles, prices and floorplans to meet most preferences and needs.
