Churches of Christ Care Welcomes Chesterville Retirement Village

on the Wednesday, May 4, 2016

Churches of Christ Care is set to help more Australians enjoy the retirement lifestyle they’ve always wanted with the acquisition of Chesterville Retirement Village in Victoria.

Ideally located in the south east Melbourne suburb of Cheltenham, the 50-unit community is just 200 metres from Southland Shopping Centre and 20 minutes to the CBD, with medical facilities and public transport on the doorstep.

General Manager Beth Littler was excited to welcome another village to our retirement living family. "Chesterville solidifies our presence and commitment to providing quality retirement living in Melbourne", Beth said. "We look forward to working with the residents to make their community the ideal place to call home."

Chesterville is the fifth village in Churches of Christ’s Melbourne portfolio, joining Arcadia Apartments in Essendon, Bethany Close in Ormond, Emmaus Lodge at Murrumbeena and Grant St in Oakleigh.

With regular get-togethers and film screenings, snooker and pool games, Scrabble and Mah-jong matches and plenty of art and craft activities on site, Beth is confident residents will embrace the Churches of Christ culture.

"Our villages offer a wide range of lifestyle options, where residents can age-in-place with freedom, independence, privacy, dignity and security, without the worry of garden and house maintenance", Beth said. "We take care of the little things so residents can spend their time dong the things they’ve always wanted to do."

Churches of Christ Care is one of the leading not-for-profit providers of retirement living, operating 20 villages throughout Queensland and Melbourne, Victoria.
