Warrigal Australia Day Community Walk 2016

Warrigal is proudly supporting the Australia Day Community Walk once again, and invite you to join in the special day. 

What: 3.5km (flat) Community Walk. The Community Walk is suitable for all ages and abilities
Where: Belmore Basin, Wollongong

Australia Day in Wollongong is all about community, families and enjoying the day at the harbour, and the Warrigal Australia Day Community Walk is the perfect experience for everyone.

Open to the wider community the Warrigal Australia Day Walk features as a key event within the “Aquathon’ open to all ages and in support of ANGLICARE Illawarra programs that will be directed to Illawarra young families in most need.

Starting at 10am, the scenic 3.5km the Warrigal Australia Day Walk walk begins at Wollongong Harbour and takes a spectacular path around the lower boat harbour for the first 1km, than along Wollongong’s ‘blue mile’ to North Wollongong Surf Club car park and returns to finish at Wollongong Harbour.

Register online or fill out the paper entry, and come with the family, or group of friends.

You can walk, jog, use a stroller or ‘roll’ and join the inclusive event.
