Volunteering at RSL Care

RSL Care invites you to make a difference to the lives of people in your local community by donating as much or as little of your time as you can spare.

Volunteering provides you with a unique opportunity to learn new skills, build upon existing work and life experiences, all while making a difference to the lives of those around you.

RSL Care residents and a team of dedicated staff rely on the ongoing assistance of volunteers who provide help in the following areas:

• Supporting people in their homes or in residential aged care facilities by providing social interaction
• Sharing your skills or knowledge with RSL Care residents and clients – music, art, gardening, reading etc.
• Providing transport for social activities, medical visits and other appointments
• Administrative support to local RSL offices

RSL Care volunteers can determine their own hours and the types of activities in which they wish to be involved. Full support and training is provided and out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed.
