Quality Accommodation for Care for the
Elderly
A home among friends. Our aim is to deliver services that
are of the highest quality in aged care making us a well
recognised and respected service provider. Sheridan Hall Caulfield is set amongst beautiful landscaped
gardens featuring a central Japanese water garden. Friends
and family can sit and chat in the privacy of our sun room,
tea making area or garden.
Resident care
Our friendly, trained staff is experienced in the care of
the elderly and have successfully completed courses in
personal care and have an understanding of dementia care.
Training is ongoing.
We have staff on duty 24 hours so at any hour emergency
calls can be dealt with. Residents have their own choice of
doctor or there is a list of local doctors that visit.
Medication is set out in Douglas Blister packs by our
pharmacist and then supervised by our staff.
Meals
Meals are freshly prepared each day by our chef. We consider
Residents’ tastes and preferences and are responsive to
their dietary needs. Breakfast is served in Residents’
rooms, with lunch and dinner being served in our elegant
dining room.
Accommodation
Sheridan Hall Caulfield has been purpose built to provide
Residents with more mobility and independence than in their
former homes. Rooms are fully furnished but Residents are
encouraged to bring along any furniture that will make them
feel more at home. |
Each room has hydronic heating,
television aerial point and telephone can be connected if
desired. The ensuites are fully equipped with grab rails for
ease of mobility.
An emergency call system is in each room including bathrooms
and all public areas. Fully self-contained independent units
occasionally become available for sale or rent.

- A full range of services, including meals, can be
purchased on a needs basis for independent living units
Activities
Sheridan Hall Caulfield aims to stimulate Residents both
physically and mentally through regular programmes of
activities and events which include:
- Strength exercise training
- Musical performances
- School children come in regularly to meet with residents
- Meditation
- Bingo, Scrabble, card games
- Birthday celebrations
- Word games
- Guest speakers
- Discussion group
- Summer barbecues
- Movie evenings
- Celebrations of festivals and holidays during the year
- Bus trips during the summer months
Fees and charges
We offer a simple monthly tariff. There are no ingoing fees,
no entry contributions and no accommodation bonds. We also
offer short-term respite care or trial if rooms are
available. |
