The Gannon Group was formed in 1978
and is not only a proud Australian owned business but
also a proud South Australian business. From the outset
the company’s main focus has been on development,
construction, marketing and management of stylish,
modern retirement estates whilst offering residents a
unique resort style of retirement.
The company’s first project was the Vermont High School
at North Plympton in 1994 which was transformed into the
Vermont Retirement Estate. This first project has
developed into Gannon Estates developing and managing
some 6-retirement estates throughout South Australia
(Glengowrie, Scarborough Mews at Somerton Park, Torrens
Grove at Kilkenny, Spring Grove at Klemzig, The Laurels
at Mt Barker and Lincoln Grove at Pt Lincoln.)
The estates comprise of single bedroom Serviced
Apartments (excluding Scarborough & Spring Grove) and
freestanding independent units comprising of 2 and 3
bedroom units where residents can enjoy the luxury of
being looked after by friendly staff every day.

and taste.
Each new venture that Gannon undertakes sees them to
