Who we are

Aged Care Queensland Incorporated (ACQ) is a not-for-profit Association consisting of more than 300 members who provide care and accommodation services to aged Queenslanders at approximately 550 sites.

ACQ members operate nursing homes, hostels, independent living units, rental accommodation for the aged, serviced apartments, respite care and in-home care services.

ACQ assists members by promoting their work to the community and to Governments, and by keeping members informed of matters that affect their operations. It also facilitates policy development and strategic development for the industry and offers education and training specific to the aged care industry.

Membership
Membership is open to all organisations serving older Queenslanders - Church, charitable, community, private enterprise, State and Local Government and Companies who supply goods or services to
villages. Other forms of membership are available to individuals and organisations associated with the industry desiring access to ACQ members. They can do this by becoming either an Industry Partner (IP) or Corporate Subscriber (CS).
