The lifestyle available at a Churches of Christ Care (Care) retirement community is relaxed and comfortable, and where residents can feel safe knowing Care is a reputable and well established, not-for-profit provider of community services.

Safety and security
Care recognises that safety and security are vitally important for our residents. A 24-hour emergency call service connection is available in every unit/villa and all residents have their rights protected in accordance with the Queensland Retirement Village Act.

Additional aged care services
Care’s aged care services take a holistic approach to care and we believe retirement village living, community based aged care and residential accommodation are all essential tiers of care needed to meet the varying needs of seniors.

For more information about Care’s residential and community based aged care services, please visit our website.

Quality care
Care works closely with a range of state and federal government departments, including the Department of Health and Ageing, to ensure our services comply with government standards for safety and quality of care. We undertake comprehensive background checks on all managers and key personnel and employ experienced, qualified staff.

We offer aged care options to suit your needs in the following regions:

Brisbane
Gold Coast Sunshine Coast Darling Downs Wide Bay Far West Queensland
We currently do not own retirement villages in this region, but we offer aged care options for residential and community care.

Care is a not-for-profit organisation that supports more than 22,000 clients each year in urban, rural and remote areas.  We operate 137 services throughout Queensland with the support of more than 2,300 staff, over 600 volunteers and 500 foster carers. Our services include community and residential aged care services, retirement villages, emergency and affordable housing, early childhood and child protection services.

Christian Values

As an agency of Churches of Christ in Queensland – a mainstream Christian church, Christian values of kindness and acceptance are reflected in the supportive environment in all our facilities. All of Care’s services are non-denominational and celebrate cultural diversity. Everyone is welcome to call on our help, regardless of their religious background.

Community Spirit
All residents in our retirement village communities are encouraged to retain their independence while enjoying the community focus available at each village.

A wide range of activities are available in the various community halls at our villages, and many of our villages are co-located with community based and/or residential aged care services.
